The River

So peaceful, so tranquil. This is a pic of the Speed River in Guelph. The picture was snapped while I was walking along the river just contemplating life. The scene really struck me as beautiful and I just had to stop and admire the beauty of nature.

The same nature that runs through the downtown area of one of Ontario's most rapidly expanding regions. Hard to believe. The unfortunate part is that places like this are disappearing in favor of houses the have barely enough space between them to push a lawn mower and backyards that are well suited to quadriplegics. It's amazing what society is willing to destroy in favor of it's own bloated conception of what the world is supposed to look like.

Makes you think doesn't it?

Boobs, Butt, or Shoulder?

Alright,

Now here's a game that I can relate to. Test your skills at random parts of female anatomy. I have a hard enough time locating these items in the daylight, so you guys should be able to beat my score of 22. Courtesy of our friends at Newgrounds.com. Click on the link under he pic to play.

Boobs, Butt, or Shoulder?

So what if I'm inmature. It'll pay off when I'm like 50.

SNOW DAY PLEASE

I don’t know about you guys in other places of the world, but here in Guelph, we received a shit-load of snow. I’m talking like a full foot deep in the parking lot of my apartment building.

I had my first opportunity to drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the snow. I was quite impressed. Lauren and I tried doing a bunch of donuts in the universities parking lot but the damn thing just gets too much traction to be fun with in the snow. Next time I’ll take my car.

On a different topic; I think I've found a picture that accuratelly reflects the effect that education has had on me.

Damn Education

Alright.. So it's the second week of class and I'm already getting stressed out. What's up with all this work? That's not what school's supposed to be about, is it? And all this learning! From my experience school's not about that either.

I have like a million assignments that I have to complete this semester and tons of reading. Luckily, I was able to get into the courses that I required because otherwise I would have been screwed. I went to the course councilor but getting viable answers is very similar to pulling teeth. Rare and painful.

The weather isn't helping much. All this white stuff and the cold wind really makes me feel like just hibernating for the next two or three months until it all blows over. Unfortunately, that's not an option.

On the plus side, David Firth has posted another Salad Fingers episode for our viewing pleasure. Weird? Twisted? I'll let you be the judge.
